Hypothalamic Reset Technique

The Hypothalamus is called the “Brain of the Brain”

Harmony Nutrition is proud to offer Chance Hypothalamic Reset Technique™ (HRT) to help clients restore balance and function at the root cause. If you are dealing with chronic symptoms or health issues and want a natural, personalized approach – HRT may be your solution!

What is Chance Hypothalamic Reset Technique™ (HRT)
A gentle, non-invasive approach that uses Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) with spinal reflex and acupuncture points to help restore proper function to the hypothalamus – the part of the brain that is often referred to as the “Brain of the Brain”.

When communication in the brain becomes imbalanced, the regulatory functions can be disrupted. HRT™ helps “reset” the hypothalamus, supporting the body in returning to a more optimal state of balance and function.

The Power of the Hypothalamus plays a central role in regulating many vital bodily functions:

Pituitary Gland
Thyroid and Adrenal Regulation
Reproduction System Regulation
Autonomic Nervous System Balance
Heart Rate & Blood Pressure
Neurotransmitter Regulation
Mood & Behavioral Functions
Hunger and Appetite
Body Temperature
Fluid & Electrolyte Balance
Insomnia
Memory

How Can Hypothalamic Reset Technique™ (HRT) HELP You?

Dr. Michael Chance developed the Chance Hypothalamic Reset Technique in 2011 to help his son, Justin, who was suffering from gastroparesis – a condition where the stomach falsely signals fullness after just a few bites of food. This led to severe hypoglycemia and seizures. Convential treatments were not helpful, but with HRT, Justin regained the ability to eat normally with no furture of hypoglycemia and seizures.
Since helping Justin, Dr. Chance has developed and expanded HRT and documented over 3500 cases and more than 21,000 individual treatments, many of the health conditions that were often misdiagnosed or poorly treated.

This technique has helped individuals with a wide range of health concerns:

ADD, OCD and other cognitive challenges
Insomnia
Autoimmune Conditions
Thyroid Dysfunction (hypo- and hyperthyroidism)
Digestive Issues
Allergies
Hormonal Imbalances
Fatigue
Mood Disorders

Think of the hypothalamus like a conductor of an orchestra
— with your body as the symphony. If the music sounds off, it’s natural to look at the conductor, since they guide the rhythm and coordination of the entire performance. In the same way, the hypothalamus plays a key role in keeping all body systems in harmony. Nearly every function in the body is influenced by the hypothalamus, either directly or indirectly, so it’s essential that it works properly to maintain balance and keep the body’s “orchestra” playing smoothly.

What to Expect

  • HRT typically involves 3-4 sessions
  • Sessions are approximately ~60 minutes
  • Each visit builds on the last, helping to restore communication between the brain and the body.
  • Once the hypothalamus is reset, continuing treatments with NRT are recommended for a continued health.
